More humanity in music?

Benjamin Schmid has complemented his project-based working method by his special recording technique:

He wants to overcome the difficulty of finding inspiration when recording in the studio: A microphone is no substitute for an audience. In order to approximate the feeling of a demanding audience Benjamin Schmid invites friends to the recording studio.

"The ideal of a world with only live recordings would lead to more truth in music.
Maybe we would not achieve the technical perfection of our days but certainly more humanity in music."
